When you use SeatPakka, we collect information necessary to provide our study hall management services:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you sign up.
- Hall Data: Study hall names, addresses, seat configurations, shift schedules, and student records you create.
- Payment Data: Payment records, amounts, and methods you enter for your students. We do not store any bank account or card details.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve our service.
- Device Data: Browser type, device identifiers (for QR check-in anti-spoofing), and IP addresses.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our seat management, payment tracking, and communication services.
- To send WhatsApp notifications (payment reminders, receipts) on your behalf to your students.
- To generate analytics and reports for your study hall dashboard.
- To improve our platform and develop new features.
- To communicate important updates about our service.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is securely stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring each hall can only access its own data. All connections use TLS/SSL encryption. We use Supabase Auth for authentication with industry-standard security practices.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share data only with:
- Service Providers: Supabase (hosting), Vercel (deployment), Evolution API (WhatsApp delivery).
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@seatpakka.com. You may also export all your hall data via the Settings page.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication sessions and theme preferences. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
